What Is a Fix-On-Six®?

In this video, Dr. Robert Harvey discusses the mini dental implant-supported bridge and how it can achieve denture stabilization with only four implants.

Our initial offering for replacing missing teeth is an implant-supported denture. This type of denture includes small housings that allow it to securely click into place on the implants. It’s a significant improvement over traditional dentures due to its increased stability.

However, if you’re looking for an even more refined solution, we can reduce the bulk of material even further. For instance, the palette of our specialized denture is much smaller compared to traditional versions, which means less coverage and more comfort.

Moving beyond dentures, we offer a superior option: the dental bridge. Unlike a denture, a bridge is a fixed solution that doesn’t cover as much of the mouth. It’s attached securely to implants with o-rings similar to those used in some dentures, but it’s made from ceramic rather than plastic. This makes the bridge stronger and eliminates the need for excess material.

The bridge is fixed; it isn’t designed to be removed by the patient. Instead, we manage the maintenance, including removing the bridge twice a year to clean the implants and the bridge itself, and to replace the o-rings as they wear out. This ensures optimal hygiene and functionality without any effort on your part. This option offers not only aesthetic and functional benefits but also a significant enhancement in comfort and ease of use.
