How Long Is the Dental Implant Procedure?
In this video, Dr. Rameek McNair describes the quick and efficient process of placing a single dental implant, often completed in less than 30 minutes.
The procedure for placing a single dental implant is quite efficient and doesn’t take much time. Often, implanting one tooth can be completed in five to seven minutes or less. For more extensive procedures, such as placing implants around the entire arch of the mouth, often referred to as a “roundhouse,” the process typically takes less than 30 minutes. Interestingly, I find that it often takes longer to administer the local anesthesia and ensure you are fully numb than it does to actually place the implants.
