What Can I Eat After Implant Surgery?

In this video, Dr. Rameek McNair offers dietary guidelines to follow after implant surgery for optimal healing.

After implant surgery, you have a lot of freedom with your diet, but it’s important to follow a few guidelines to ensure the healing process goes smoothly. While you can eat most foods, we recommend avoiding sticky foods and very hard items. Sticky foods can pull on the implant, potentially dislodging it, and hard foods might damage the new implant before it has fully integrated with the bone. Other than these restrictions, feel free to enjoy a wide variety of foods. Eating should be a pleasurable experience, and we want to make sure you can continue to enjoy your meals while your implant heals.
