We typically use Halcion, which is a medication similar to Xanax and Valium, belonging to the same family of sedatives. This type of sedation allows you to be awake and able to communicate during your procedure, but you likely won’t remember the details afterward. Many patients appreciate this aspect because it helps them undergo dental treatments without retaining any stressful or uncomfortable memories of the procedure. This approach ensures that you receive the care you need in a relaxed and comfortable manner.
