The Implant Bridge Process

In this video, Dr. Rameek McNair guides you through the implant bridge process, from the initial consultation to the final placement, ensuring a perfect fit and natural appearance.

The process for getting an implant bridge begins with a complimentary implant consultation at our clinic. During this consultation, we’ll customize a treatment plan specifically tailored to your dental needs. Here’s a step-by-step breakdown of the procedure:

1. Bone Evaluation: The first step involves evaluating your jawbone to determine if there is sufficient bone between the teeth to support the implants. In most cases, there is enough bone to proceed.

2. Tooth Preparation: Next, I will prepare the teeth adjacent to the gap. This preparation is necessary to ensure the implants and the bridge fit seamlessly and functionally.

3. Implant Placement: We then place the appropriate mini dental implants in the spaces where teeth are missing. Mini dental implants are chosen for their less invasive nature and quicker healing time.

4. Impression and Temporary Bridge: After placing the implants, we take an impression of the area, which is sent to a dental lab to fabricate your permanent bridge. In the meantime, we provide you with a temporary bridge so you won’t have to go without teeth during the fabrication process.

5. Permanent Bridge Placement: Once your permanent bridge is ready, you’ll return to our office. During this visit, we will remove your temporary bridge and cement the permanent bridge into place.

This comprehensive approach ensures that the implant bridge not only fits perfectly but also looks natural and improves overall dental function. Our goal is to make the entire process as smooth and comfortable as possible for you.
